NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
The Awty International School seeks to enroll qualified students who will be successful in our programs and who will add to the diversity of our School community. Financial assistance is awarded to families whose financial circumstance would generally preclude their child(ren) from attending The Awty International School or for whom the total school expenses are greater than his or her family’s ability to pay them. Financial assistance is available for students entering Kindergarten and above. Students entering Kindergarten may only receive a maximum of 50% of total tuition in assistance.
Financial Aid is available to qualified students regardless of race, gender, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin. Applications for admission to The Awty International School and admission decisions are independent of applications for financial assistance.
Families that indicate on the Application for Admission that they wish to apply for financial assistance will receive the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) application form. The Parents’ Financial Statement Application for Financial Assistance form must be completed and mailed to SSS by the last day in January.
Parents may complete the Parents’ Financial Statement Application for Financial Assistance form online. Parents must also mail a copy of their current Income Tax form 1040, W-2 Form and any other appropriate form to the Admissions Office by February 15 th. Both parents must each provide this information. Please note that stepparent’s information may also be considered.
Awarded financial assistance most often does not include books, uniforms, and additional fees. It does include 50% of the lunch program fee.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 713-580-0579 for further information.
