FROM THE BOOSTER CLUB PRESIDENT  

Dear Parents:
I would first like to thank all parents and volunteers for supporting the Awty Rams Booster club last year. A large group of dedicated volunteers ensures the Booster Bistro is open daily at break offering a variety of snacks including fruit and home baked goods. The Bistro and Ram Shack are also open for home games as a service to our athletes and the visiting teams.

Coaches and parent volunteers make the annual Almost Olympics a successful, fun-filled evening of friendly competition, team trivia, skill and creativity between teams of Awty parents, and their friends. We have had a successful year and are looking forward to a very exciting 2007-2008.

The Awty Rams Booster Club is a non-profit volunteer organization composed of parents, coaches and others in the community who are interested in supporting Awty Athletics. Our mission is to support the athletes, their coaches, and the administration in order to allow Awty athletic teams to achieve their full potential and to promote a united spirit within the Awty athletic program. We do this through your membership, fundraisers, donations and dedicated volunteers.

In the recent years, the Awty Rams Booster Club has provided or committed to donating the following items for our athletes: athletic equipment for all sports, coaching reference materials, a soccer scoreboard, software scheduling programs, uniforms, lights for the soccer field, warm ups and T-shirts, weight training equipment, score table for basketball/volleyball, playground equipment for the Pre-School, parkas for the swim team, golf carts for the new facility, equipment for the bistro in the new facility, and mirrors for the new dance studio (partial contribution).

Awty Rams Booster Club is excited that we will have the challenge to provide our athletes with additional supplies and equipment to make the most of the new state-of-the-art athletic facility that will be slated for completion this school year.

The Awty Rams Booster Club is successful, quite simply, because of your generous donations, membership and parent volunteers. We need parents to help us continue our fine tradition in supporting our student athletes. As an additional benefit to volunteering, you get to work with some extremely dedicated and very talented people who know how to work hard and play even harder.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Awty Rams Booster Club supports Awty Athletic Programs through fundraising endeavors by individuals and businesses.

Awty Rams Booster Club has supported Awty Athletics through its membership, the Awty Almost Olympics and the Booster Bistro. The Booster Club has purchased and committed to the following:

• outdoor lights for the main soccer field;
• new equipment for the weight room;
• athletic equipment for all sports;
• coaching reference materials;

What is a Booster Club?
A Booster Club is an organization that is formed to contribute money to an associated club, sports team, or organization. Booster Clubs are popular in American schools below the university level. These clubs are generally run and organized by the parents of the students in the supported organization. Fundraisers are often held to raise money for supplies or equipment that the students may need or for trips that the students may need to take.

Your Membership will help provide financial support for:
• Facility Improvements
• Athletic Equipment
• Team Uniforms
• Supplement the needs of the Athletic Department
• Provides a better competitive edge to Awty coaches and athletes
• Encourages a positive environment through parent and volunteer participation

• 100% of membership dues goes to support Awty Athletes
• Membership provides the best opportunity for supporting the various athletic programs of the school

The objective of the Awty Rams Booster Club is to provide financial support for the Awty Athletic Department. The General Membership operates concession stands during home games, runs the Booster Bistro during Middle and Upper School breaks, holds fundraisers and will offer team spirit clothing items though the Ram Shack.

The Awty Rams Booster Club promotes good sportsmanship and good citizenship through all sanctioned school extracurricular activities and sports. By joining the Awty Booster Club, you will play an active part in helping your children and the Awty school community in achieving its goal. Active participation is possible through attending meetings and assisting in our volunteer programs.

Membership Levels:
$30 ‘Bleachers’ - Family memberships, admission to all home athletic events (except Homecoming), recognition on the Awty website, plus you receive an Awty Rams Car Decal.

$100 ‘Box Seats’ - Family membership, all the benefits of the Bleacher seats plus free Family Admission to Homecoming.

$300 ‘The Clubhouse’ - Family membership; all benefits of the “Box Seats” membership; an extra Car Decal; plus your name or company name displayed year-round in the PAAC outside the Booster Bistro.
