Student Government

Middle School

The Middle School Student Council is comprised of twelve students elected by their peers in the fall semester of each new school year with two representatives from the International Section and two representatives from the French Section at grades 6, 7, and 8. The student council acts as a liaison between the student body and the Middle School administration. Its main purpose is to help student life at Awty be the best it can be. The council meets weekly in order to plan and organize special events such as the Annual Middle School Talent Show and Mix-It-Up Day as well as a variety of community service initiatives.

Elections are held in the Fall.
