All of our 8th and 9th grade students started the day with a special screening of the movie Till, which tells the story of 14-year-old Emmett Till who was murdered in 1955, and the fight of his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, to receive justice for her son.
Following the viewing, the students gathered in small groups, moderated by Senior students, to discuss the experience.
