Congratulations to senior Omar Reyes who took 1st Place in the Veterans Of Foreign Wars of Texas Voice of Democracy Scholarship competition, winning a $10,000 scholarship. Omar will now compete in the VFW National Scholarship contest in July. The Voice of Democracy (VOD) provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.
