Houston’s Premier PK3 – 12th Grade International Day School
Thanks to all of our LS students who did lots of reading this summer, the Awty Libraries will be able to donate over $1,000 to Books Between Kids. The nonprofit organization provides Houston's at-risk children with books to build their own home libraries. Students who read 20 hours or more during the Summer Reading Challenge were also invited to a special event in the LS Library, where they each selected a book to be donated to Books Between Kids.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Awty Parent and Personnel Association (APPA) for orchestrating such a splendid celebration of our diverse cultures.
