The school provides several ways for families to stay connected and informed during the school year. Two of the most important online tools are My Backpack and the Parent Portal. Please click on the link below for additional information.

Please register new student health information by using Awty’s online health system portal Magnus Health powered by My Backpack. A new student is defined as never attending school at Awty, or a previous Awty student who withdrew and is now re-enrolling.
The following requirements must be completed and uploaded online directly to the Magnus Health portal BEFORE the first day of school.
- Immunization History Form: Awty requires proof of immunization, legible in English. Please use the hyperlinks below to review the current Texas Immunization Requirements:
Immunizations are one of the most important benefits to the overall health of our school community. For a small number of people, there may be valid reasons for which your child cannot receive certain vaccines. If exemption from vaccination is required, the original signed and notarized document must be hand-delivered to the School Clinic ON or BEFORE the first day of school.
- The Vital Health Form: An online (computer-based) questionnaire that requires no doctor’s visit to complete. The information within this document can be changed as often as needed and re-submitted directly to the MagnusHealth portal.
- The Annual Physical: Grade specific required screening(s) vision, hearing, spinal, acanthosis nigricans.
- The nurses understand the deadline of June 1, 2021 may be difficult to complete at this time. The deadline has been extended until further instructions are received from the State of Texas. If you have an opportunity to complete this requirement, please do so, then upload the document directly to the MagnusHealth Portal.
All currently enrolled parents and guardians will receive instructions and a unique My Backpack and Magnus Health username and password per family. This information will be sent to the email address on file.

Important: International families must have medical forms completed by a physician in the United States.
For all students who are not holders of a U.S. passport, please submit the following to the Admissions Office as soon as possible and no later than August 2:
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of Visa
- Copy of Birth Certificate
Students enrolling in the French accredited program must also provide a copy of the Exeat (certificat de radiation) from the sending school.

The Welcome Family program was established by the Awty Parents and Personnel Association (APPA) to ease the transition to school for new students and their families. The Welcome Family (or buddy) will serve as your guide through the first school year. Please fill out this form if you wish to be contacted.
Beginning in Kinder/GS, students must wear the school uniform. Dennis Uniform is our provider and offers three convenient ways to shop:
- Shop online at: https://www.dennisuniform.com. Register an email for sale notifications.
- Shop at their store located at 7613 Katy Freeway, Suite G, 77024. *The store is open for in-person shopping, but contactless curbside pickup is available.
- Call Customer Service at 1-800-854-6951 to place a phone order. School code: VAI.
The Awty Parents and Personnel Association (APPA) collects used uniform donations and holds several sales during the year. Both school and PE uniforms are available at deeply discounted prices – items are sold "as is". There is no guarantee your child's size will be available.
Used Uniform sales will be available to parents prior to the start of school as usual. The Used Uniform Store has moved off-site to a location near the ELC at 1217 West Loop North, Suite 190. This new space allows the store to operate with a limited number of people inside. Families are asked to pre-schedule visit times and masks must be worn while on-site. All purchases will be charged directly to school accounts (other forms of payment including cash, credit, and check will not be accepted). Click here to schedule your visit. For families interested in the bus options provided by Awty, please note this is a service we arrange with AFC Transportation, an outside bus company. Bus fees are not a part of our tuition and an additional fee is required. We will follow evolving guidance regarding COVID protocols over the summer and will update this page as things develop. It is likely social distancing and masks will be required.
Due to social distancing, the buses will be limited to a small number of riders, though there are some exceptions when family members ride together. For routes that require multiple buses, we will assess which routes have larger demand and which ones have fewer riders and try to combine routes to provide the number of buses necessary.
If your child(ren) will be taking the bus for the 2021-2022 school year, please complete the Bus Enrollment Form before the start of the school year. It is located in My Backpack under My Forms/Documents > My Forms. The 2021-2022 Bus Schedule is also available in My Backpack under Message Center. During the school year, if an emergency arises such as a bus doesn't arrive, you have safety concerns, or an item is left on a bus, please contact Maritza Ramos on her mobile phone at 832-367-5602. Sage Dining provides our meals daily. Our on-site chef prepares a daily menu of healthy snacks and lunch options. The cost is included with tuition. For more detailed information, visit the Sage Dining web page.
