Financial Aid

The Awty International School seeks to enroll qualified students who will be successful in our programs and who will add to the diversity of our school community. Financial assistance is awarded to families whose financial circumstances would generally preclude their child(ren) from attending The Awty International School or for whom the total school expenses are greater than their ability to pay; all awards are based on need.

Applications for 2025-2026 financial aid will open on October 1, 2024.
The deadline to apply for financial aid is February 15, 2025.

Financial Aid Policies

The Awty International School offers a need based financial aid program to assist families with the cost of tuition. Financial aid decisions are based on a family's demonstrated financial need. We currently do not offer merit scholarships based on academic, athletic, or other student achievements.
Please click here and create your account by entering your primary email address as your username. Blackbaud Financial Aid will use this email address to contact you in the event that your application is “on hold” for missing documentation. Once you create your username and password, you will receive a verification email. Once you click the verification link to verify that you are the account holder, you will be able to log in using the username and password you created. Please be advised that if you do not click the verification link that is sent to your email address, you will not be able to log in or reset your password.
We will communicate our financial aid decision to you. To make our decision, we use the information from your Blackbaud Financial Aid application as a starting point but also consider our school policy, practices, and available budget.
Financial aid is awarded annually. Families must reapply each year for financial aid consideration but can expect to receive about the same percentage of tuition assistance unless their financial situation has significantly changed.
Current Awty families must submit their re-enrollment contract, including payment of the registration fee, before a financial aid decision will be offered.
Applications for admissions are independent of financial aid applications. Students applying to the Awty International School should complete the financial aid process within the established deadlines in order to receive a financial aid award in conjunction with their admissions decision.
Awty cannot be bound by the terms of legal or personal agreements between parents in regards to financial support. As a result we require both custodial and non-custodial parent(s) to complete the financial aid process. We do understand that extenuating circumstances may exist which warrant our reconsideration of this requirement; please send a written inquiry to Deanna Jackson for consideration.

Step 1: Submit Parent Financial Statement

Submit the online Blackbaud Financial Aid application by February 15. Both parents, regardless of marital status, must complete the financial aid application and submit their supporting tax documents.

Financial aid applications received or completed after the stated deadline will be considered if funds remain available.

Step 2: Required Supporting Documentation

Supporting documentation must be uploaded to your Blackbaud application by February 15. Applications submitted without documentation will not be processed.

Most recent pay stubs
Most recent W-2 forms for all jobs.
Most recently filed federal tax returns: 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ with all schedules.
Most recently filed business tax return: 1120, 1120S, 1065 (if applicable).
Supplemental income documentation: Social Security income, Welfare, Food Stamps, Child Support, 1099-M Forms, Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, Veterans Benefits, Housing Allowance, etc.
If you are unable to provide any of the aforementioned items, please submit a Special Circumstance Letter indicating which document(s) you are unable to provide and why. This information will be shared with your school for consideration.
