WHAT IS THE AWTY GALA?

The Awty Gala is an annual fundraising event specifically designed to allow parents and corporate sponsors another avenue to contribute financially to The Awty International School.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Join us for a fantastic event on February 29, 2020:

  • Table sponsorships start at $6,000 and includes dinner for ten people, plus the sponsors receive an invitation to the VIP Party prior to the gala.
  • Couples sponsorships are $1,200 and include preferred seating for two, and an invitation to the VIP Party prior to the gala.
  • Individual tickets are $300 per person, or $600 per couple.

Underwrite a portion of the event:
You can donate money to Awty through a straight donation and underwrite a portion of the 2020 Awty Gala.  Underwriting opportunities start at $1,200 and will be listed soon.

Donate an auction item:
Each year, we host an online auction and a live auction as part of our annual Awty Gala efforts.  Popular online auction items include restaurant gift cards, certificates for beauty services, kids birthday party items, popular summer toys, and anything related to travel.  Our online auction consists almost entirely of vacation homes and travel destinations donated by families and friends of Awty.  If you have an item or a property that you would like to donate, please contact Lauren Linn, Director of Philanthropic Events

Volunteer:
The 2020 Gala Committee has a number of outlets for involvement including helping us thank our donors through stewardship, asking for auction items, coordinating the online auction, or working with some of our sign-up parties: Sociables and Awty Adventures.

WHAT IS AN AWTY ADVENTURE?

An Awty Adventure is an outing for our students with a beloved faculty or staff member similar to the adult sociables.  In past years, these popular outings have included an experience to iFly, a cooking class, a bowling outing, and many other fun adventures.  During our online auction, the Awty community is offered the opportunity to purchase a spot for their child(ren) at these enjoyable events.

WHAT IS A SOCIABLE?

A Sociable (frequently referred to as a sign-up party) is an event hosted by members of the Awty Community and are often brunches, lunches, or dinners.  During our online auction and at our gala, there are opportunities to purchase a seat at these delicious events.
