Do you want to support the Awty Community, and win up to $10,000 toward tuition? Here's how!

For the first time as a part of the Awty Gala, we are offering one current Awty family the chance to win a credit for up to $10,000 toward tuition at Awty. Tickets are available exclusively online.

Tuition Raffle Tickets

RULES:

1. You must be a member of a current Awty family to participate.
   
   1. You must be 18 years old or older to participate.
2. All credited proceeds must be applied toward tuition at The Awty International School.
   
   1. Proceeds may be credited to the tuition account balance for either the current or upcoming academic year.
   2. Your school account must be in good standing before the prize money can be applied to any remaining or future balance.
3. The proceeds from the raffle will be split evenly between The Awty International School and the potential winner up to the $10,000 tuition credit maximum.
4. The maximum prize awarded to the winner will not exceed $10,000 in tuition credit.
5. The Awty International School agrees to pay the IRS withholding tax of 33.33% of the raffle prize fair market value minus the cost of the ticket.

Co-Chairs of the 2018 Awty Gala, members of the Advancement Office staff, and members of the Admissions Office staff are not eligible to participate.

Raffle tickets are not tax deductible. Please check your email following the raffle purchase for your emailed ticket receipt.

The winning name will be drawn at the 2018 Awty Gala on March 3, 2018, at The Ballroom at Bayou Place. You do not need to be present to win. You do not need to bring your ticket receipt to the gala in order to win.

Your generous contribution will help us reach our goal of raising $575,000 for Awty. All money raised directly benefits our deserving students, faculty, and staff.

Purchase of this ticket indicates compliance with the raffle rules listed above.

Sociable - so·cia·ble - n - a fun event in which Awty families get together and enjoy a great night of fun, food, or entertainment. Hosted by Awty families with expertise in various foods, wines and/or a special interest; these events are not to be missed. Awty Sociables are highly prized and are in attendance. You can attend a sociable only if you sign up for them in the online auction or at the Awty Gala. Sociables do come with a warning - they are very addictive.

Okay, so now you know! These sociables are a great way to meet other Awty families that share similar interest in food, sports, wine, and cooking. You will be surprised at the caliber of cooks, chefs, wine enthusiasts, hosts and hostesses we have in our midst. We hope you will join in the fun and try to make it to some of our Sociables this year.

FAQ

How can I sign up for a sociable?
They will be available in the online auction, which will be open February 20-27, 2018. Those that have not sold out will be available at the Awty Gala, in the cocktail reception space before we go into the main ballroom for dinner.

Will I be able to sign up with friends?
All Awty families are eligible to attend sociable. You and friends are welcome to sign up for the same ones.

This will be our first time going to a sociable, which one is the best?
Go with your stomach ... oops, I mean your heart. Definitely choose a sociable based on what you love to eat and do. There are some sociables that are "brought back by popular demand." That should be a big hint as to their success and then there are others hosted by people you know are experts in the events they are hosting.
