Awty 6th Grader Receives 3 Awards at National History Day State Competition

Congratulations to 6th grader Max Grinstein! He made it to the National History Day state competition in Austin with his paper, “When Conflict Follows Compromise: The Red Cross and the Holocaust.” He walked away with not one, but THREE awards:

  1. Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission award for best entry about the Holocaust
  2. Texas Jewish Historical Society award for best entry for best paper on a subject about Jewish history
  3. Best project from his region, which earned him a medal
